The Life Aquatic

TheLifeAquatic_IT_DPS_watermarkSailing into an ocean alive with Polynesian legends, last November I climbed aboard a double-hulled Vaka (the Marumaru Atua) with a team of inspiring individuals reviving the ancient sailing traditions of the Pacific. Chief among them (literally) was Tua Pittman of Blue Canoe fame (i.e. the upcoming film, not the women’s lingerie), who dedicates all his inspiring achievements to the honour of his ancestors. To meet him and read the full 10-page story in all it’s glossy-5-consecutive-double-page-spread glory, download the PDF or head over to International Traveller Magazine (the legends who sent me to The Cook Islands one of the best assignments of my life) and order a copy of the current issue.
