‘Pier Ruins’ makes photo of the day in Light and Composition Magazine

Pier ruins on Fraser Island. These ruins once served as a loading pier for ships to take hardwood timber from the forests of Fraser Island to the mainland. Panorama stitched together using Photoshop CS4, taken on a Nikon D80 camera and Nikon 24-120mm f3.5 VR lens. Exposure Details: 1/100 second @ f14 ISO 100.

Hi Guys,

Just thought I’d let you know that this panorama ‘Pier Ruins’ from the sailing trip I did this time last year has been selected as the photo of the day, today October 13th in Light & Composition Magazine. The photo automatically goes into a competition for the photo of the month, which will be selected based on the number of comments, tweets and re-tweets of the photo of the day. So head on over to the website, leave a comment and if you’re a twitterer, please tweet away.

Cheers,

Cam.
